Supporting Pediatric Patients during COVID-19
I believe most of the people have experienced isolate at home for more than 3 months because of the COVID-19. You feel anxiety, loneliness and depression. Same to the pediatric patient and their family caregiver.
This project is to redesign the PATIENT RESOURCE page based on the current design to provide some great resources and better user experience to help the pediatric patient going through these hardest time.
It ‘s a very meaningful project, I’ll be sharing some challenge and what I learn from this project.

Solution?
The first thing we want to do is to visualize these information to attract users to click and explore. And we need to classify those information so that users can navigate to what they want very easily.
In the mean time, we want to create a playful, colorful website but be very careful about using some illustrations to give the pediatric patient a sense of substitution.

The difference between designers and developers
In general, designers and developers come from different backgrounds. This is my first time working with developer. The biggest challenge I was facing was what I handoff to developer is not the things he need. So a good communication between designer and developer is very important. During this time, I did a lot of research and learned their language. One thing very impressed me is I found that the developed was using hard code which is not good for responsive web design. The developer agreed with me and avoided the further problem.
It was a great experience that we learned from each other. Moreover, I learned how to communicate with developer and do a good handoff.

The function already iterated, but we still can check the official website😊
